Paul Hackwell is the Director of Corporate Resources with responsibility for Finance, HR, IT and facilities.
He is covering the role on an interim basis pending the outcome of the Capital, ALB and Spending reviews.
Paul has been working as an interim Finance Director for 15 years. Recent clients include the Victoria and Albert museum and the School Food Trust.
The Corporate Resources Team at PfS are responsible for budgeting, accounts, financial reporting, IT systems and support, knowledge management, data management, business processes, human resources and administration. Their main challenges are to consolidate, systematise and modernise the business, whilst efficiently and effectively supporting PfS's changing and expanding responsibilities.
The Corporate Resources Team also includes the National Programme Team, which oversees the allocation of money to BSF projects, and are responsible for ensuring that value for money is achieved from these resources and that the policy objectives of the programme are met. They also work with the Knowledge Management team on the information systems by which the cost and quality information on all projects can be captured, stored and analysed, enabling the dissemination of best practice.
